Head Coach: Wendy Williams

Overview: Wendy enters her 1st year of coaching cross country. She obtained her degree in Special Education and her minor in Exercise Science and Coaching from NCAA DII Black Hills State University (Spearfish, S.D.) in 2010. She is a high school graduate of Rock Spring High School (Rock Springs, WY).

Achievements:

  • Overall: NCAA DII All-American 7 times, including Cross Country All-American 3 times

  • 2007: NCAA DII 3k Indoor All-American

  • 2009: NCAA DII National Outdoor Marathon Champion

  • 2010: NCAA DII 5k Outdoor All-American, NCAA DII 10k Outdoor All-American, NCAA DII National Outdoor Marathon Champion

Philosophy: "My philosophy will center on taking them (cross country team) through Romans 5:3. I hope they would be able to find joy in their sufferings and develop perseverance not only in their running but more importantly in their walk(s) with the Lord."

Family: Wendy is married to Barclay College graduate Jeremiah Williams and they have an 8 month old daughter, Abigail. They are the current Men's Resident Directors.


Assistant Coach: Brad Lingafelter

Overview: Brad enters his first year as the men's and women's assistant cross country coach at Barclay College. He is a graduate from Southwestern College (Phoenix, AZ) where he earned his degree in Counseling. From 2005-07 he was the Head Men's and Women's Cross Country Coach at NAIA D1 Hannibal-LaGrange University (Hannibal, MO) and has been the Head Women's Basketball Coach at Barclay College for the past 6 seasons.

Family: Brad is a Chatham, IL native and now resides in Haviland with his wife KC. Brad and KC have six kids, (Shayna, Sierra, Seth, Shelby, Sawyer and Selah) ranging in age from 15 to 5 months.
