Prayer Calendar
We at Barclay College value our long tradition of faithful graduates and friends who continually keep us in their prayers. Your faithfulness is felt and appreciated! Following is a list of current concerns and items for praise.
Praises
- The students enjoyed a wonderful spiritual retreat at Camp Quaker Haven in Arkansas City over the weekend. The speaker was Slade Williams, youth pastor of First Denver Friends.
- Congratulations to Chelsea Roberts and Brad Carpenter who were married on Saturday, the 23rd. After a honeymoon to the northwest coast, they will be living here in Haviland for approximately 6 months before returning to Rwanda.
- The latest student count for the fall semester stands at 143 (new students, returning students and online students). Praise the Lord!
- We praise God for the improvements to our building and grounds that have been made possible through the hard work of our maintenance crew and many faithful volunteers.
- The college now has 10 full-time on campus professors. They all have masters degrees and five have doctorates. They are all born again Christians and relate well to the students.
Petitions
- Ask the Lord to help us worship Him together in spirit and in truth as we gather for chapel each Tuesday and Thursday morning (see the chapel schedule for more details).
- Safety for all those who travel on behalf of the College (athletic teams, ministry teams, admissions team, choir, etc.).
- Adjusting to college life can be a big challenge for new students, especially those who are long way from home. Ask the Lord to give our students an extra portion of His grace and peace this fall as they make these transitions.
