Bachelor of Science: Psychology
|
The psychology degree at Barclay College is designed to acquaint and familiarize students with psychological theory and the principles of cognition and behavior. Students will join a scholarly community, build lasting relationships, experience personal growth, and be challenged by others who share a vision for service. Together we will learn to integrate faith with a practical understanding of the field of psychology. Students will also be challenged to apply psychological principles to practical situations and relate the findings of psychology to biblical Christianity. Barclay College challenges students to consider their personal calling to ministry, as well as their role in social justice, equality, and peacemaking - qualities valued in the Friends heritage of the institution. It is the integration of the relationship between the Creator and His creation that makes the study of psychology at Barclay College uniquely meaningful. The goal of the program is to prepare students for graduate studies or ministry in the local community. Join us and accept the challenge. Want to know more? |
